Intended Use: NOVA Gel™ Sm/RNP is a double diffusion test system for the screening and semi quantitative determination of autoantibodies to Sm/RNP, an extractable nuclear antigen (ENA), in human serum. The presence of antibodies to Sm/RNP can be used in conjunction with other serological tests and clinical findings to aid in the diagnosis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and other related connective tissue diseases.
