Intended Use: NOVA Gel™ SS-A/SS-B is a double diffusion test system for the titering and semi quantitative determination of autoantibodies to SS-A/SS-B, an extractable nuclear antigen (ENA), in human serum. The presence of antibodies to SS-A/SS-B can be used in conjunction with other serological tests and clinical findings to aid in the diagnosis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and other related connective tissue diseases, such as Sjögren's Syndrome.
